The St. Louis Cardinals have the best record in the MLB so far, 17-7 through May 3rd. The Cardinals did lose Chris Carpenter(again) to the DL but they still have strong hitting and their pitching includes Adam Wainwright and Kyle Lohse. I don't think they have enough to win the World Series but it is a stellar improvement from last year.
